The Matanuska-Susitna Borough is located in south central Alaska, an area of the state blessed with spectacular scenery, natural history and an abundance of wildlife. The Landscape and history is dramatic and diverse. Trails provide access to this beautiful country. This hike and bike path is a 24-mile linear park that starts at 24 Mile Road and Dequindre in Shelby Township and travels northeast to the City of Richmond.
