I’m Louie Mantia, an icon and user interface designer currently working at the Iconfactory in Greensboro, North Carolina. How did you interest in design - especially icon design - get started? I remember 10 years ago, I became very interested in computers. I didn’t have a Mac yet, but I began to customize anything I could on my computer.
Review the LOUIE 9.2 Upgrade website.
See the ITS System Status page for information regarding system status and maintenance schedules.
Access LOUIE tutorials for information on how to use LOUIE.
LOUIE (“Lumberjack Online University Information Environment”) provides self-service access to academic, financial, employment, and personal information. It is also sometimes referred to as “PeopleSoft.”
Students: Check grades and schedules, request unofficial transcripts, view financial accounts, add/drop courses, and more.
Faculty or staff: Access benefit information, payroll, and more.
The LOUIE system is generally available 24 hours per day, seven days per week, with the exception of Sunday mornings from 4 a.m. to 8 a.m.
Note: Fee payment is unavailable daily between 10:30 p.m. and 2:00 a.m.
Since LOUIE is a “live” and real-time system, it cannot be available 100% of the time due to the periodic maintenance needs of the many computer system components upon which LOUIE relies. Information about additional or unexpected outages can be found on the ITS Systems Status page.
If you are having problems accessing LOUIE, please refer to either the Student Help Page or the Faculty/Staff Help Page. If that does not address your problem or if you have other technical questions, please contact one of the support centers listed below.

A LOUIE account on an NAU computer system is a privilege available to qualified students. Usage of this system is monitored and you must understand and agree to the following to use this account:
I have reviewed and understand the policies associated with registering for or dropping courses and the courses that are required to complete my major, minor, liberal studies and other programs of study that I may select. Whether I have consulted with an academic advisor or not, I freely choose to register for these courses and I assume full responsibility for my course selection and the resulting consequences and liabilities associated with my selection.

Looks like an interesting piece of software. Thanks for pointing it out, and for the fix!
You're very welcomed!

Anyone seen mrproject (from codefactory) ported to OS X? Larry.
I wouldn't hold my breath for an OS X port of MrProject. But I'd imagine that you can install the GNOME Desktop, and then install MrProject relatively easily.Since I don't have any GNOME software on my Mac, I can't really advise much further than pointing you at fink for installing the GNOME Desktop from the fink distribution.
Good luck!

Off-Topic slightly...
I have been looking for something to free me of my Microsoft Project fixation and this seems to be the one.
I have a question though, how do you alter the resources type in the settings dialog?
You might want to also look at Fast Track, published by AEC software ( http://www.aecsoft.com/ ).
In the past it was fairly unstable, but it's latest version has proven fairly solid. Easy to set up, and easy to use (esp. if you know project). Lot's of features, although a few little niggly things will piss you off if you use it often... (esp. the way resources are assigned to tasks and tracked. It's so cumbersome to be useless).
FastTrack looks very interesting. But being the lone Mac user who dares to replace his office PC in a Windows-only company, I would need some compelling reasons to come up with my own funds to buy FastTrack. However, I can see this product being perfect for the career project manager.
Thanks for the pointer!

I've found that while you can't edit the existing resource roles, you can add new ones under the Edit, Settings menu option.

I am using 10.2.8, wth the latest 1.4.1 Java update, and it runs extremely slow on my iBook Dual USB (granted, I need to upgrade). I downloaded this at work and it is rather snappy on Windows. Has anyone used this on OSX? Is there some optimization trick I'm missing?
Reader Dipak Patel and I had been trying unsuccessfully to get PDF export to work until his question in the help forum prompted an answer to download the .zip file rather than just the .java file. The .zip file is larger because it includes the necessary libraries for this feature.Woo hoo! Thanks Dipak!
Louie
P.S. If you have a large project, the chart might not be readable in the exported PDF format. You may still have to print to PDF directly (or from the HTML export to customize page size) to generate multiple sheets to get larger print.

And if you've started by downloading the .zip file, and you're using the preference file I posted initially, you'll have to modify it slightly to accommodate for the slightly more complicated file structure.
